Beautifully glazed, rich in color, these salad-sized plates arrived nicely packaged in perfect condition. They're thick but not heavy, a littleover 8.5 inches wide. The edging is just the extra touch to give the plates a classy look while also still providing a classic appeal for any number of occasions. I purchased the amber plates and will be using them for my Thanksgiving table but they'll be usable for many other occasions.
