I’ve been looking for a set of straight lip stoneware for a while. When I saw this set on Birch Lane, I realized that the white set was sold out. I decided to get the black set and I couldn't be happier with my decision! These plates truly impressed me with their understated yet elegant design. The clean-lined straight lip edge adds a modern touch that I love. This set would be much easier to keep clean than the white set so it all worked out. Crafted from high-quality stoneware, these plates boast a soft matte finish that exudes sophistication. Whether it's a casual solo dinner or a formal gathering, I’m sure these plates will effortlessly complement any occasion arrangement. One of the features I appreciate most about this set is its versatility. The size of the plates allows me to layer them with smaller plates or dishes, giving me endless possibilities for creative presentations. There were several other dinnerware sets made of Melamine that caught my eye, but they have limitations. You can’t use them in the microwave and the chemical leeches into certain acidic food. Ultimately, knowing that these stoneware plates are BPA-free and safe to use in both the microwave and oven gives me peace of mind. It's such a relief to have dinnerware that not only looks beautiful but is also practical and convenient to use. Overall, I highly recommend this set of dinner plates to anyone looking to add a touch of style and functionality to their table setting.
