Made in France. Heavyweight, tight-fitting lid retains moisture. Oven safe up to 500F. Stainless steel knob. Smooth enamel bottom works on all stovetops. This piece is one of a kind. Rough texture results in exceptional browning. Requires no seasoning.

The D3™ Compact Stainless collection is All-Clad's best-selling cookware series, and is the cookware of preference for many of the world's professional chefs and discriminating home cooks. The 7 Qt. stockpot and colander insert let you lift out cooked pasta, or other ingredients, and leave behind the water/broth. Other uses include steaming or blanching vegetables and shellfish.
This is a beautifully crafted pot, but please keep in mind that only the pot is made in the USA. It is of excellent quality too. The insert however is not made in the USA and neither are the handles on the pot. Birch Lane describes it’s specifications as made in the USA, but as you can see on the box it is not. The insert is thinner and even has a defect. One of the holes is still filled in. My complaint is that it cost 300 dollars. You can also go onto All-Clad and read the specifications which state insert and handles are made in China. I just wish that Birch Lane would do a better job with listing accurate information so that customers are not mislead. I have been waiting for almost a week for them to rectify the situation.
