The plates and bowls seem to be good quality so far. The handles on the coffee mugs barely allow my fingers through, so the backs of my fingers are pressed up against the hot mug. It is a beautiful set. I fell in love with the transferware patterns after watching Little House on the Prairie. I tried to find original pieces but these are just as beautiful and affordable and all in a set.
