Enjoy a refined tea experience with these Heritage Green Italian teacups and saucers. Made in Stoke-on-Trent, England from fine earthenware, they showcase Spode’s iconic Italian design in an elegant green palette. Perfect for entertaining or quiet moments, they add timeless beauty to every sip.
These cups and saucers are the ideal English teacup set. They are perfect in detail and true to the original design that was Blue Italian by Spode. Yes, these are made in England, unlike most of the Blue Italian pieces, now made in China. I initially ordered just one teacup in this size directly from Spode to determine whether I would truly like them as. much as my Blue Italian set that I purchased years ago. I decided to order them once I received the initial cup, and saw that Wayfair offered a set of four cups and saucers in the 7 oz size for just about twice what I had paid for one cup and saucer from the manufacturer. Deal! Then I noticed that Wayfair also offered a set of four identical cups and saucers in the 10 oz size. I finally decided to return the 7 oz set of four in exchange for the 10 oz size since they were essentially the same price from Wayfair, and I imagined they would be more appreciated by my American friends for their larger size. I did keep the single 7 oz teacup to use myself, plus the set of four larger 10 oz teacups for sharing. Please see my photos for their comparison in size. In case you may be thinking of gifting these beauties, each set of one cup and saucer comes in its own Spode-labeled box. I have since purchased other pieces from this same line from Wayfair; all are made in England, and most arrived in perfect condition. For the rare item that arrived damaged (teapot), Wayfair was quick to exchange it for a new undamaged item.. Cheryl. Wed Jul 08 2026
