nice, it worked well, though after several years the pins which act as hinges broke, but we can use it without the lid

We used to have a ceramic slop pot just sitting on the kitchen counter. I didn’t want anything sitting on the counter anymore so I purchased this to hang on the side of our kitchen trash can instead and I can’t believe how much better it is and how much better it looks.

Excellent product design and good footprint for back of a kitchen counter. Only complaint is plastic hinges on the lid are not robust enough for repeated use. Manufacturer was good to work with and replaced under warranty.

Love this bin. So convenient and doesn't take up any space since it attaches to my Simple Human garbage

I had gone through a couple of no lid type compost bins. I dislike those ones because it sits bulky on my countertop causing a bad smell fruit flies. When I saw the SH bin, I immediately love the look. I have been using it for close to 2 yrs now. I like that its out of sight when I don’t need to use it and no smell was the most I liked about this bin. Yes, fruit flies still forms but its contained. I bought a fruit fly trapper to help.
