Beautifully glazed, rich in color, these salad-sized plates arrived nicely packaged in perfect condition. They're thick but not heavy, a littleover 8.5 inches wide. The edging is just the extra touch to give the plates a classy look while also still providing a classic appeal for any number of occasions. I purchased the amber plates and will be using them for my Thanksgiving table but they'll be usable for many other occasions. My only issue is the box was filled with Styrofoam peanuts, and I was surprised that styrofoam peanuts are still in use when there are so many better options.

Beautiful! Exactly what I was looking for. I have had these for 2 years. Dishwasher safe, sturdy, color does not fade.

Beautiful plates! I love this collection. The leaf design around the rim is just lovely, and the forest green color is wonderful. The plates are actually 8.5" in diameter and they are 1.25" high. The edges are raised a bit, but I like this because it keeps food on the plate. I would absolutely recommend these plates and this collection! Many of the dishes in this collection are quite a bit pricey, but I found these to be the most inexpensive in the collection and the price was relatively reasonable.

Color in the photo is much more green than reality. I would describe the Moss color as more brown than green. Does not coordinate well with the classic Portmeirion botanical garden. Returning.
