Fantastic easy to use and clean

This is my first Le Creuset cooking utensil however, not my first Le Creuset purchase. While I love every Le Creuset item I have, this one is my least favorite. The handle is well made, and does not appear easy to break or splinter - which is what you want out of a wooden cooking utensil. The silicone spatulaspoon is my only reservation. It truly IS non-stick, and even gooey, melting cheese slides off of it with ease. In that regard it is perfect! If you are using this spoon to scrape the bottom of a potpandish, then it isnt the best. The silicone is thick, yet very flexible towards the tip, so a perfect scraping tool it is not. After making some broccoli Cheddar soup I was using this spoonula(?) To scrape the leftovers into a container. While it did OK, I wound up using a normal flat spatula as the Le Creuset was more tedious and cumbersome. In all fairness it could be that I am not used to using this type of utensil, so I will be using it every chance I have to test it out better and update this review as needed. Until then it is nice, but just so-so.
