This device is just what I was missing. I had a plastic strainer thatI picked up fro. A store around my house. It tore up with cracks pretty quickly. I am glad to have this replacement.

A splurge, but after years of cycling out cheap kitchen utensils that fall apart, I wanted something I don't have to replace. This is awesome. Really sturdy and thick and worth the extra.

solid, quality product. could be improved by increasing size of drain holes in lower section as they are partially blocked by base so it doesn't drain as well or as quickly as it could. still love it and use it all the time.
