I bought this fruit bowl set to use as rice bowls, and the size works very well for that purpose. The weight is okay—not as light as bone china, but still comfortable for everyday use. For the price, I’m satisfied, and the product itself is excellent. My only complaint is the color match. I also bought the Fitz and Floyd pasta dinner bowl set, and that set is more off-white, while these fruit bowls are pure white. Because of that, they don’t match perfectly, even though they are from the same company. I wish I had known the color difference before ordering.
