First... the good: I absolutely love the blue celeste color, and I think this pattern is very interesting. I believe it will ultimately look good when installed. I will be using it on a bathroom floor.
Now... the not-so-good: The way this pattern manifests is not so straightforward. In fact, I was going to return it all before my interior designer friend showed me how to manipulate the tile so that the pattern could be laid properly . It requires you to remove one of the small squares on one of the sheets of tile, and replace it on an adjacent sheet. You simply CANNOT install the tile 'as is', and expect the pattern to come out the right way... it's impossible!
Like I said... it's not so straightforward for the average human to understand. In the reviews, I saw photos of it installed as a kitchen backsplash. I thought the installer (in those photos) had installed it incorrectly, and in fact, had done so. The pattern did not manifest on the wall correctly. What I didn't know then, and clearly, what that installer did not understand, was what I have explained above.
Another thing I do not love about this tile is the variation in color. Yes... I 100% understand that with natural stone, you will definitely get some variation, and I am okay with that. However, I think the variation in this tile borders on undesirable. The blues that are in this marble tile can go yellowish-green. That's not a big deal if it's not in-your-face obvious, and if it's only on a sheet or two. But... this tile has quite a bit of discoloration throughout, and I think that is why it's reduced to such a bargain price. If all the blues had been much clearer, and less discolored, you probably wouldn't get this tile at this price point.
