The coffee maker looks great and brews good coffee, the hot water maker works fine. I can’t get the timer to work how’re. I set the time on program, turn the function knob to auto on and press the on knob and…nothing. Maybe I’m doing something incorrectly but do far no good as far as the timer function goes. Otherwise it makes a big pot of good coffee and heats water for tea or whatever. So I’m happy with that. I’ve had problems in the past with cuisinart auto function settings. Maybe it’s me. I do like how the hot water heater works. It has a lock so you can’t (or your kids can’t) let the hot water drip out unless you unlock it which is thoughtful. And you actually have to press down on a lever to let the water out which I thought was also a nice safety feature. So all things considered I like the coffee maker but I’m a little disappointed that I have to actually go to the kitchen at 5 am and press a button because the coffee’s not ready for me. Bummer. But as I said, it might be something I’m not doing right. I’ll update if I figure it out.

The first one would not grind. I returned it and got a replacement a few days later. The replacement has exceeded all of my expectations. It’s easy to set up.
