Update: they washed up well (tip: pull them out of the dryer a little early, fold them, and dry them on top of the dryer to "press" out wrinkles) and are a great texture: soft and absorbent. Original: Very nice looking and seems like they’ll function and wash up well. These napkins are even prettier in person. They’re not as muted as the picture indicates but they are soft. I love how they look with natural wood. The lightest color is a perfect blend of creamy white but doesn’t feel yellow. It would look great with modern or farmhouse or traditional decor. The pattern is classic and timeless. The charger placemats are very nice. I ordered them to go with a beautiful table cloth that I have. I live on the beach and they pair well with my dishes that are white ceramic with a border of starfish and seashells in the design. I think they’re a little pricey. Also the first time I used them for a brunch they had accumulated some cinnamon sugar that didn’t come out by turning it over and tapping it. I had to use a little kitchen brush to remove it.. Joy.
