The piece is very well made, delivery was a snap, and the images on the website did not mislead us. Some information on the specification description is confusing, i.e. is the piece pine or poplar or is it simply a black poplar wash on pine, huh Still don’t know but it feels like pine, though hard to tell due to the black color and totally opaque finish. But we had a great experience from ordering to delivery and it was seamless, the piece is beautiful, whole, undamaged, and fits perfectly. The Lana Chest is a beautiful piece of furniture. It's the perfect size, and it is versatile in ways it can be used. The stand is exactly what I was looking for to go with my Natural wood floors. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the two swinging doors are hard to open after I put my Center Speaker on the top of the unit. This is causing the wood to bend slightly and the doors are harder to open. I took off the back of the unit to provide more air flow for my receiver that sits underneath and in the middle.
