The fireplace insert literally just screws in with four screws and that was it the easiest install of my life. I think the fit and finishes great still trying to figure out where to put it in the house but the heat works great too. The product was of good quality though it came damaged. The shovel was markedly dented and the base was scratched. It was surprising as it appeared to be very well wrapped and I only saw a small dent in the box. After A LOT of run around, Wayfair made it right with providing me with a discount as I didn’t want to take the time and effort to return it. Easy assembly. You will see there is only one side you can screw the base on due to some excess welded (which shows on the left in the photo of the s ratchets to the base) material on one side, just fyi. The entertainment center is great, however Felix who was sent from Anji's was not very nice. He was installing the shelves and I could see that he didn't have the finished edges facing outward, he was putting the shelves in backwards! I checked the manual to see if I was incorrect and it was very plain that the installer was putting the shelves in backwards! We argued over this well over 5 minutes and I even showed him the diagram of how the shelves should be and basically he told me I didn't know what I was talking about! I finally told him that I didn't care how he wanted to install the shelves, I wanted them facing to the front! He questioned me again and I said, "Just do it!" Felix wasn't happy, but finally installed it the way I wanted. He left in a hurry and I asked if he was going to clean up and he said, "No"! He left the room in a complete mess, styrofoam everywhere and multiple boxes everywhere too! Everything was great EXCEPT the installer that Anji's sent!!!!!!!!!!!!! It comes fully assembled minus the electric fire place insert, which you just slide in from the back and tighten two screws on either side. The fireplace itself has several settings for flame color, brightness, whether the coals flicker, and temperature. You can also turn just the “flames” on with no heat. When the heat setting is functioning the blower is slightly loud, but nothing you can’t get used to. I’d say similar to a floor fan. Overall, this is a nice fireplace and I’m happy with how it looks in my space. The design is clean, minimal, and exactly the aesthetic I was hoping for. Unfortunately, the assembly process was frustrating. One of the panels was mislabeled, so I had to spend extra time figuring out where each piece belonged. On top of that, one of the screw holes was manufactured incorrectly, which meant I couldn’t install a screw properly because it simply didn’t fit. I could have returned it, but this was already a replacement shipment after my original order was lost in transit. At that point, I didn’t want to go through another lengthy return process. While the finished product looks great, I don’t feel the quality control matches the price point. For the amount I paid, I don’t think there should be issues with mislabeled parts or improperly drilled screw holes.
