Very solid frame. The biggest issue we had was not being aware that this bed needed a box frame. I assumed it came with slats to support the mattress, but was told that was not the case after contacting customer service about the issue. After having the frame for a month or so we have noticed a couple spots where the wood is splitting, but it's nothing that is deteriorating the sturdiness of the product. Customer Service was responsive to the defects situation and worked with me on a solution. Defects aside, the chairs are comfortable and the right size for the space. Beautiful chair but poor quality. After having it for only two weeks, the leg fell off when my son was pushing it across the floor and was almost impossible to screw back in. My husband was able to reconstruct it by moving the castor- more effort than anticipated when we purchased the chair.
