Somerton Ash, Counter Stool (27.25" Seat Height)

Get back to the basics with this understated modern stool seating. Its simple shape includes a split back design that lets the upholstery peek through. A oak frame paired with fabric brings natural tonality to the chair.

I ordered this stool in the Alcala Fawn. It is very comfortable and the color of the fabric is great for minimizing stains. However, I am not crazy about the back of the stool. It almost looks like they ran out of wood while making the chair. I would've liked the gap to have seemed more purposeful. I'm still deciding if I will keep it and order more for my kitchen island.. These chairs are beautiful. They feel very sturdy and are surprisingly comfortable, given they don’t have a cushion. I was sad I had to return them. I measured the height only and didn’t account for how deep the seat is. They didn’t fit under our counter overhang.. Dana. Carmel, IN. Mon Aug 24 2026
