From the steel rails and exposed wheels to the mortise and tenon details, Lorna speaks to simplicity. The weathered brown oak finish is distressed to deliberately highlight its age and compliments the basic barn door style with heavy plank tops and timber legs. Lorna's classic look with rustic wood and authentic hardware has clearly withstood the test of time.

Loved finding bookcases this tall (94”) and wide (40”) and was able to make my office/studio wall look like a built-in. Lucky to find wood finish close to other elements we were using. While we don’t really need the ladder function, the rod detail makes the unit look unique and we didn’t purchase a ladder. A wall anchor was provided with each shelf, but we purchased more substantial ones because they are heavy pieces.. David. Orlando, FL. Sun Feb 16 2025

Really love this shelf! It comes assembled, is good quality and the leather smell from the handles makes it richer! Mine wabbles slightly but with weight on it, it stopped. Extremely heavy and solid furniture piece. Zero blemishes and packaged extremely well. I don’t usually complain about packaging smell but this one did have a strong odor. Talk about texture. Washed black mango forms spacious open shelving, with woven door fronts of natural cane for eye-catching contrast and a fashion-forward feel.

The Boudreau bookcase is gorgeous and better quality than I expected. The delivery team of Ricardo Felipe were first class. They texted the morning of the delivery then called when 30 minutes away. The bookcase came well wrapped boxed and they carefully removed the packaging. They were extremely professional made my Birch Lane experience 5 stars.. Anonymous. Tue Jun 03 2025

Introducing our collection meticulously crafted to elevate your workspace. Embracing a timeless aesthetic each piece boasts a natural oak finish delicately enhanced by a light glaze exuding sophistication and warmth. Featuring heavy bar pull hardware and bold U shapes on the desks and storage solutions that are sure to make a statement in any workspace.

I am mostly pleased with these, considering the price. They arrived in perfect condition and look exactly as pictured. They blend well with the other wood colors and style in my living room. However I had hoped the wood would look more like real oak. The white glaze is much heavier than you can see on the photo, and it still retains a very strong smell. The white glaze is overdone, in my opinion, and makes the piece look like really fake wood, which I guess it is. I kind of wished I had ordered the very similar bookshelves without a back (made by a different manufacturer) because it doesnt say it has the glaze and also says it is made of oak and rubber wood. But those were each 100 more so I went with these.Whereas these are mostly engineered wood I believe. Once the smell wears away, Im sure Ill be happier with them.. Carol. Longboat Key, FL.
