Truro Schoolhouse Light

English Bronze

This 1-light schoolhouse pendant has an adjustable height, so you can make sure you get just the right illumination over your dining room table or in your entryway. It's also compatible with a dimmer switch for adjustable ambiance. This pendant features a clear glass schoolhouse shade for a farmhouse look, and is suspended from a slim downrod and caged finial for a simple look. This fixture takes a single 60W bulb, which is sold separately – we recommend picking up an Edison bulb for just the right pop of retro flair.

These could not be more perfect. I have been searching for pendants for above our island for over 9 months. We had three, tiny, builder-grade pendants in this space before and they did nothing for our kitchen. I wanted to be sure the size of whatever we bought would look appropriate with our tall ceilings and open floor plan. These do such a wonderful job of filling the space without looking crowded. We have a lot of black in our house (curtain rods, dining room chairs, etc) and although these are technically a dark, dark brown, they still look great. I don't foresee wanting to paint them or anything. Clean out the glass and consider using gloves when you're installing to avoid dust and fingerprints inside the pendants. Other than that, enjoy. This lighting is simple single light semi-flush with clear glass shade.

We love the look of these lights and they were very easy to install. They look fantastic with the longer style Edison bulbs - we can’t stop talking about how glad we are that we chose these lights. The only thing I am not totally thrilled about is that there are several small imperfections in the glass shades, they’re small and look like dust specs but because the shades are pretty large and totally smooth and clear we’re just more aware them than if it were textured glass..
