This piece is absolutely gorgeous! Our house has lower ceilings, so it looks much bigger than I imagined, but still looks stellar. It holds more than I thought it would, and really helps to pull our bedroom together a bit more. It is HEAVY! Thankfully the delivery guys were able to get it in the general location I wanted it, but I had to move it in order to get it anchored to the wall. I understand why the one delivery guy was acting put out and irritated. Having pieces that have arrived damaged in the past, I made sure to go over it with a fine-toothed comb and it was in excellent condition. Beautiful piece. Very substantial.. Anonymous. Mon Oct 19 2026

Crafted from worn oak for a found, heritage look, naturally beautiful cabinetry offers generous storage space by way of roomy shelving and four lower drawers.

This is easily my favorite purchase from Birch Lane. It’s expensive, but after seeing it in person, I think it’s worth every penny. This is the kind of substantial, beautiful piece of furniture that you keep for years and eventually pass down. I currently use mine in the kitchen for additional storage, and it’s incredibly spacious. It holds a surprising amount while still looking like a beautiful piece of furniture rather than just a storage cabinet. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent, and it has so much character. I genuinely enjoy just looking at it. If you’re hesitant because of the price, I was too—but this is one purchase I absolutely do not regret.. Ash. Sacramento, CA. Sun Aug 09 2026

The desk is beautiful and solidly built. It's so nice to actually have a desk NOT made of particle board. It looks great and the drawers are sturdy and come with some nice accessories like a wood inlay for pens and supplies., felt bottoms for 2 of the top drawers and the fully built in file cabinets. The desk also has a built in power supply for 2 electrical sockets and 2 USB ports. I wasn't sure what to expect since there were so few pictures posted but I am VERY happy with the desk. It came extremely well packaged and the only assembly necessary was attaching the 8 little legs. One warning; the back of the desk leaves a bit to be desired for anyone that doesn't plan to have it against a wall.. J. VA. Tue Jul 24 2018
