Really a 3 plus. Overall it meets my needs & honestly what made this my final choice was the cushion storage feature. I don’t have a shed or a garage at the moment and logging them in and out continuously and storing them in my house would be a p.i.t.a. It’s a bit tricky getting the cushion loaded in, but they are stored inside enclosed pouches. So that by far is the best feature. I do have to say, the overall appearance is a little bit cheaper looking than you’d believe looking at these online photos- very recycled single use grocery store sheen to it. Normally this is where I’d say ‘you get what you pay for’, but at around ~4.5K it most definitely IS NOT a case of you get what you pay for and more of a case of I can’t believe I paid this much for this level of quality. Thus, the 3.5 rating, which is really summed up as saying this is sufficient but in my opinion not a very good value. I also wasn’t jazzed by the wood contained in the product. I would’ve much preferred cast aluminum but there just wasn’t the options available that fit my needs. Someone mentioned the cushions are a bit stiff and I’d say I agree but they’re comfortable. Also note that if you’re vertically challenged, the sitting depth (how far you have to scootch back to plant your back on the cushions and still reach the ground) is much deeper on the couch than it is on the chairs. As such, I find the chairs to be more comfortable even though I’m 6’2”. Best of luck in your search. Sadly we’re all just going to get fleeced buying this type of product.
