We ordered five of these stools. One came damaged and Birch Lane sent a new one. The cushions are a bit hard but expect will soften over time. The wood is a dark walnut stain which is what we wanted. The upholstery is beige with dark gray "flecks". The nylon protectors on the bottom of the legs really grab on our wood floor and make it difficult to move the stools. I love Birch Lane. I love these Lenox dishes. (It is my second set.) I’m always very satisfied with my orders from BL. BUT… I received a notification that the dishes had been delivered. So I opened the email to see my box sitting on a vehicle (My mother’s SUV was sitting in my front yard, and the photo showed the dishes sitting on top of her hood). Like why?
