Easy to assemble, well packed to survive in transit. We chose this one as the octagon shape seemed a bit easier to navigate around without hitting knees or shins on the corners of the square version - seems to have been a good choice. For the price - at the lower end of the spectrum - this seems quite decent. Fit/finish are quite good if not perfect (the door to access the controls/propane tank closes and works fine but isn't a perfect fit). Flame output is quite even around the burner and looks quite nice. Does not radiate a huge amount of heat - which means you could probably use the outer edges of the table for drinks, etc. with the burner on lower settings. We also originally had adirondack style chairs around it which, with the height of this fire pit also put the heat source up a fair amount higher than those seated around it - this does improve with more 'standard' style patio furniture. I received my delivery on Wednesday and was placed in a wonderful spot. As it was raining, they left it under my balcony in the back of my home, rather than my front steps. I also appreciated the notification and the textspic. We opened the fire pit on Saturday, and absolutely LOVE it! We are SO happy with it and think it was SO worth spending a little extra for the style and size. There were absolutely no defects that we could see, and we cant wait to sit and enjoy it. (Only wish our furniture wasnt delayed. lol) Would HIGHLY recommend this fire pit and Wayfair delivery. Will submit a photo when we use it. Only wish...wish it came with a lid for the fire pit itself so that it could also serve as a table when not being used for a fire. But we will make one ourselves.
