The design style and proportions of this lamp adds character to entryway while enhancing trim work leading to the front door. The installation was straight forward aside from being a little tricky getting the last glass pane in position. However, one star was lost because it arrived damaged with two of the candelabra sockets bent. I suppose the installation steps were the same but not being able to match the instructions to our lamp visually was really throwing me off. Luckily this is the ninth light fixture I've bought for the house so my husband and I have had some prior practice! Secondly, the holes to mount the glass dome onto the light base are not aligned well. We were able to make it work, but it took some elbow grease and prayers. Matte Black
