Montauk Wood Bookcase

From the steel rails and exposed wheels to the mortise and tenon details, Lorna speaks to simplicity. The weathered brown oak finish is distressed to deliberately highlight its age and compliments the basic barn door style with heavy plank tops and timber legs. Lorna's classic look with rustic wood and authentic hardware has clearly withstood the test of time.

Loved finding bookcases this tall (94”) and wide (40”) and was able to make my office/studio wall look like a built-in. Lucky to find wood finish close to other elements we were using. While we don’t really need the ladder function, the rod detail makes the unit look unique and we didn’t purchase a ladder. A wall anchor was provided with each shelf, but we purchased more substantial ones because they are heavy pieces.. David. Orlando, FL. Sun Feb 16 2025

This bookshelf helps you create a lived-in look in your living room or office. It's made from solid and engineered wood, and features a neutral, weathered taupe finish with visible wood grain for just the right amount of rustic apples. It also has canted corners, bead molding, and cutout top details. This bookshelf has four shelves that give you plenty of room to display your well-thumbed classics or a few of your favorite pottery pieces from the shop down the street. We also love that it comes with a wall anchor for safety.

It arrived well packaged with lots of Styrofoam. It is beautiful as advertised.. Alison. Pierce City, MO. Sun May 23 2021

Dove Tail Gray

This wooden bookcase is a fresh take on a traditional farmhouse favorite with its tall glass doors and integrated LED lighting. It's thoughtfully crafted from pine hardwoods with a natural wood grain texture that comes in the finish of your choice. Its stately silhouette is accented by crown moldings, raised paneling, and four spade feet, while aged bronze hardware adds just the right amount of contrast. Looks aside, three shelves (with built-in lighting) let you display framed photos, prized knickknacks, and rows of your favorite antique books, making this furniture piece an excellent storage solution for an at-home office or den. And a wide lower drawer is great for tucking away any accessories you want out of sight. Best of all? This standard bookcase comes with a tipover restraint, which comes in handy if you have little ones running around.

So cool! Love the lights and the sleek secret design to turn on the lights on and off. Just tap the hinge to turn lights on and off!. Jodi. US. Wed Oct 14 2020

I am mostly pleased with these, considering the price. They arrived in perfect condition and look exactly as pictured. They blend well with the other wood colors and style in my living room. However I had hoped the wood would look more like real oak. The white glaze is much heavier than you can see on the photo, and it still retains a very strong smell. The white glaze is overdone, in my opinion, and makes the piece look like really fake wood, which I guess it is. I kind of wished I had ordered the very similar bookshelves without a back (made by a different manufacturer) because it doesnt say it has the glaze and also says it is made of oak and rubber wood. But those were each 100 more so I went with these.Whereas these are mostly engineered wood I believe. Once the smell wears away, Im sure Ill be happier with them.. Carol. Longboat Key, FL. Bring Americana vibes to your space with a large, storage-driven bookcase made from warm oak and oak veneer. Plenty of open shelving for storage and display, plus lower drawers and a slide-door compartment.

A well made piece of truly wood furniture indeed! I love my new bookcase! It is fairly tall, but works well in my primary suite with our 10’ tall ceiling. My favorite part, honestly, are the deeper than average shelves. I’m storing a mixture of some fairly large size books as well as a few LEGO sets I’ve built and it is perfect for both, all at once. Thanks for carrying this awesome piece of furniture that will be handed down generation after generation. 1st pic - See how much it holds, including hidden storage shelves at the bottom on the right. 2nd pic - Built in drawers. 3rd pic - See how deep the shelves are, even with books on it..
