The build quality is also consistent with the pricing - no cheap hardware or particle board. Some car will be needed in maintaining the top, but I'll be following the instructions - and there will be no food or drinks on it anyway. This is a great cabinet however, there have been issues. The first one arrived damaged and Wayfair sent a furniture repair person to fix. It was too badly damaged and was replaced within three weeks. The second unit came in great condition, service was great however, upon further inspection, the touch-latch for the bottom drawer isn't functional. Hopefully an easy repair. But we had a great experience from ordering to delivery and it was seamless, the piece is beautiful, whole, undamaged, and fits perfectly.
