Very solid frame. The biggest issue we had was not being aware that this bed needed a box frame. I assumed it came with slats to support the mattress, but was told that was not the case after contacting customer service about the issue. After months of searching for the perfect dresser, I finally found this one. I had been wanting this dresser for so long, but it was quite expensive. Buying furniture online can be risky, especially when you don’t know what you’ll receive. However, I’ve had positive experiences with Wayfair in the past, so I decided to take the plunge and make the purchase during a sale. This dresser is well-made and incredibly heavy, which is a testament to its quality. The wood has a beautiful, inviting aroma, and the overall design is stunning. It truly exceeded my expectations. Of course, it’s not without its imperfections. There are a few knots and blemishes throughout the wood, but I find these features to be unique and add to the dresser’s charm. I don’t mind them at all they’re actually what I love most about it. The delivery was prompt, and the dresser was assembled and placed in my chosen room without any additional cost. The price was also significantly lower than other retailers, and the delivery team was respectful and professional throughout the process. The bed arrived ahead of schedule and I really like the shade of white and the overall look. The assembly, which we did ourselves was tricky…and my husband is very handy. The hardware was tough to align (it took us an hour or more to get the left side board to latch in correctly to the headboard), the pre-drilled holes on the feet did not match the diagram and the screws that were supplied for securing the wood slats were so long they would have dangerously protruded underneath the bed (we switched those). We bought the classic navy linen in the platform bed for our son’s room. It was delivered quickly and the assembly crew came promptly the next morning. It is perfect! Looks high end and expensive! I do LOVE this! The cushion part is beigeweird tan and not an ivorycream (not what I anticipated fabric wise for the price point). That wasis disappointing. Luckily the concept is fabulous and I love the functionality of it! Rare when beauty and functionality actually pair with one another! If you like to sit up and read or write in bed this is the bed for you! Does not interfere wneck or sleeping. I have a plate in my neck and I am very sensitive, this doesn’t affect it all when lying down. Based on photo I also thought height of headboard would have more grandeur than it does in real life.
