The bed arrived ahead of schedule and I really like the shade of white and the overall look. The assembly, which we did ourselves was tricky…and my husband is very handy. The hardware was tough to align (it took us an hour or more to get the left side board to latch in correctly to the headboard), the pre-drilled holes on the feet did not match the diagram and the screws that were supplied for securing the wood slats were so long they would have dangerously protruded underneath the bed (we switched those). Very solid frame. The biggest issue we had was not being aware that this bed needed a box frame. I assumed it came with slats to support the mattress, but was told that was not the case after contacting customer service about the issue. After having the frame for a month or so we have noticed a couple spots where the wood is splitting, but it's nothing that is deteriorating the sturdiness of the product. I do LOVE this! The cushion part is beigeweird tan and not an ivorycream (not what I anticipated fabric wise for the price point). That wasis disappointing. Luckily the concept is fabulous and I love the functionality of it! Rare when beauty and functionality actually pair with one another! If you like to sit up and read or write in bed this is the bed for you! Does not interfere wneck or sleeping. I have a plate in my neck and I am very sensitive, this doesn’t affect it all when lying down. Based on photo I also thought height of headboard would have more grandeur than it does in real life.
