A lesser quality product would have "rained" needles. The garland is as pictured. It is not a "full" type of garland, but it will be adequate after "fluffing." The garland will be used in our front yard to cover the various wires on outdoor displays at Christmas. I only bought 4 but likely should have bought additional garland.
