I love my new desk! It's very sturdy & the side drawers are huge and could fit my laptop but for now holds a binder and 2 notebooks. They're lined with brown velvet (side drawers) and all 3 drawers glide very smoothly. The color is a medium gray/brown with some black and white mixed in & has a slight rustic quality as it's not entirely smooth but has some texture to it. My office is only 105" wide and this desk fits nicely centered in the room. My only wish is that it had a couple grommet holes to hide the wires but that's an inexpensive DIY and since the side drawer is big enough to hide my laptop, I might tuck that away in there also. The desk also has a built in power supply for 2 electrical sockets and 2 USB ports. I wasn't sure what to expect since there were so few pictures posted but I am VERY happy with the desk. It came extremely well packaged and the only assembly necessary was attaching the 8 little legs. UPDATE the manufacturer sent replacement pieces, promptly. I love the set, very sturdy and great quality. The slats on top are not evenly spaced. The support bars under the seat and on the back are bigger than the mortise joints and will not fit in. Can not be assembled as is. The arms, where they attach to the leg and the back are not aligned. The top and the legs came preassembled for the table.
