The desk is beautiful and solidly built. It's so nice to actually have a desk NOT made of particle board. It looks great and the drawers are sturdy and come with some nice accessories like a wood inlay for pens and supplies., felt bottoms for 2 of the top drawers and the fully built in file cabinets. The desk also has a built in power supply for 2 electrical sockets and 2 USB ports. I wasn't sure what to expect since there were so few pictures posted but I am VERY happy with the desk. It came extremely well packaged and the only assembly necessary was attaching the 8 little legs. Loved finding bookcases this tall (94”) and wide (40”) and was able to make my office/studio wall look like a built-in. Lucky to find wood finish close to other elements we were using. While we don’t really need the ladder function, the rod detail makes the unit look unique and we didn’t purchase a ladder.
