It looks very nice and has a nice satin-y (?) feel. It arrived with a few small but visible dings, which I would have been happpy to touch up with replacement paint, but Birch Lane replaced it with a perfect version.. Laurel. San Ramon, CA. Thu Mar 20 2025

We purchased the white quarz countertop. It is exactly what we were looking for. Quality wood and countertop, looks more expensive than it was, and it is SOLID (400 lbs per the delivery team). It also has a huge amount of storage--no wasted space. We did not need any seating area and appreciated that this island utilized the underneath space for storage instead. Our delivery team was excellent as well, item actually arrived fully assembled and they delivered it with care. Highly recommend!. Heidi. Fort Worth, TX. Wed Jul 29 2026

Behind the four doors, a hidden drawer and shelves offer plenty of room to keep extra dishes and seasonal essentials neatly tucked out of sight. Plus, an included tip-over restraint device helps give you peace of mind in busy households.

This sideboard is beautiful. Wood grain with a silverware drawer liner inside, nice hardware, and shelves to store your things. I love the height-hard to find in a sideboard and the soft curved edges. It's very pretty and I like how it looks in our dining room. HOWEVER, the delivery process has been a nightmare. The original delivery date was delayed from the initial 10 days to 28 days. Reason was it was damaged in transit. Then when it was finally delivered, white glove, the hardware was missing for the lower shelf. Customer service was called-shockingly, there was no expedited process given the hardware was missing and we have been waiting a month for the piece.. Naturally, it took another week before the hardware shipped and then it was a full 2 weeks before it finally arrived. AND IT ARRIVED TODAY BUT IS THE WRONG HARDWARE! How can this be so hard? When I asked for a credit for the inconvenience, I was told no. Sorry for you! I wouldn't order from Birch Lane again unless you want your furniture in a few months. Logistics are not their thing, clearly.. Andrea Vinson. California. Wed Sep 02 2026

Designed with an oak cradle frame that holds the tabletop above with exposed joint details on the shelf and legs below for a benchmade look and feel. Crafted from oak with iron accents.

It’s a substantial piece of furniture. I like the color and I like the dimensions. I wish that it had come in one piece and not had to be put together, but I’m sure it was too big to ship. My only other qualm is the drawers… They’re not soft close and you have to push them in and then give them another hard push to get them to close completely. Although is labeled a kitchen island, I use it as a buffet. Sam K. Gilbert, SC. Wed May 13 2026

This black iron sideboard brings a touch of refined utility to dining rooms, entryways, or home offices. With three drawers and closed cabinetry, there’s plenty of space for linens, serveware, or everyday extras. Weathered bronze hardware adds subtle contrast and a tailored finish. It arrives fully assembled and includes a tip-over restraint for added peace of mind. Its clean lines and sturdy build pair well with antique woods, painted finishes, or other metals – a versatile anchor for layered, collected spaces.

This is a solid, well-crafted piece. I was a little nervous about how nice metal would look, but it looks very stylish. My only slight complaint is that paint on the inside of the sideboard scraped a bit when I wasn't careful what I put in the unit (we're currently storing some weird things in it due to remodeling). So if you were putting something that might be abrasive in the sideboard, you might want to use non-adhesive shelf paper inside to protect the paint/shelves.. Maureen. Thu Oct 17 2024

Crafted from reclaimed oak wood, this cabinet brings a subtle rustic charm to any living or dining space by preserving the character of aged wood and showcasing its dynamic grain patterns and historical markings. Storage, but make it show-worthy. Our solid mango-wood sideboard borrows its carved trellis doors from old-world architectural screens, then finishes them in a warm, lived-in wash. Behind four doors, adjustable shelves and built-in cable management keep essentials organized (and on display).
