Beautiful chair but poor quality. After having it for only two weeks, the leg fell off when my son was pushing it across the floor and was almost impossible to screw back in. My husband was able to reconstruct it by moving the castor- more effort than anticipated when we purchased the chair. Despite there clearly being a quality issue, Birch Lane only offered a partial refund.. Elisabeth. Chicago, IL. Fri Apr 03 2026

Arrived with some dirt scuff marks from the warehouse. Wayfair offered a discount vs. replacing the chair, which should be cleanable. Otherwise, appears to be a very well made chair, though I haven't had a chance to spend much time sitting in it.. Effie. Tacoma, WA. Sun Jun 01 2025

Fallingbrook Natural, Toasted Oak

A midcentury-inspired piece brought to modern speed. A supportive, sling-style back and seat cushion are upholstered in a soft, velvety fabric, with toasted arms prime for the head of the table.

Great chairs. Comfortable and versatile style. I bought 2, one for each end of the dining room table. The only downside is that the arms are a bit low so it if you like to rest your elbows it’s not that comfortable although you can lean to the side to rest an arm. Beautiful chairs though!. Stefania. This 2-piece dining chair set brings a woven, classic feel right to your space. Crafted with a solid wood frame, each chair features a high back filled with a woven cane panel for breezy texture and subtle depth. A padded, foam-filled seat cushion adds a soft layer of support during long dinners or everyday meals. Plus, plastic floor glides underneath help protect your floors from scratches and scuffs.

We love the shape and size of these chairs, and we especially love the color. We're using one of them in our entry way as an easy spot to sit and put on shoes, and the other in a guest room, but plan to use them both at our dining table when needed for extra company. The only thing we weren't happy with was the rough finish of the wood in places. It was almost as if it got wet after the wood was sanded, because there were strange rough patches here and there. I worried that they would snag clothing. We sanded both chairs lightly all over, and are happy enough with how that turned out to keep them. We really do love the style, the look and the color..
