The medium sized one had some sort of knot on the very bottom that cause the candlestick not to sit flat. Luckily my husband is super handy and helpful and was able to smooth the bottom out in just a couple of minutes. Would recommend if you have a rustic, shabby chic or farmhouse style.. Anonymous.
