We love the shape and size of these chairs, and we especially love the color. We're using one of them in our entry way as an easy spot to sit and put on shoes, and the other in a guest room, but plan to use them both at our dining table when needed for extra company. The only thing we weren't happy with was the rough finish of the wood in places. It was almost as if it got wet after the wood was sanded, because there were strange rough patches here and there. The the very comfortable and have just the right cushioning and back slope. I searched and searched for the perfect chairs to go with my new dining room table! I worried about buying something without seeing it in person and actually had these in my cart twice before taking the plunge and I’m so glad I did! They are perfect! They are slightly lighter than my table which is ash and have a bit of a chocolate color to them but it was a nice contrast. They are VERY heavy and sturdy.
