I love my new desk! It's very sturdy & the side drawers are huge and could fit my laptop but for now holds a binder and 2 notebooks. They're lined with brown velvet (side drawers) and all 3 drawers glide very smoothly. The color is a medium gray/brown with some black and white mixed in & has a slight rustic quality as it's not entirely smooth but has some texture to it. My office is only 105" wide and this desk fits nicely centered in the room. My only wish is that it had a couple grommet holes to hide the wires but that's an inexpensive DIY and since the side drawer is big enough to hide my laptop, I might tuck that away in there also. I think this is a good quality piece. It did however arrived damaged. Looks like it was dropped. Some pieces were broken and the top looks like someone at the factory tried to fix it. Ordered in the worn oak color, looks as pictured. My only concern is the finish is not smooth, so it catches on dusting clothes or sleeves of clothing, which then lifts tiny splinters and then peels.
