The chest of drawers is very nice looking. It is a heavy piece of furniture, but the drawers arent as sturdy as I thought they should be. I can feel them wobble a bit when opening. It seems that all furniture is like this these days. The bottom drawer has a cedar lining, and the top drawer contains a velvet lining. I am happy with the purchase, but I do wish the drawers were more stable. The delivery of this piece of furniture went well, although another piece was damaged. Birch Lane took care of that situation. I must have been mistaken by thinking the purchase included white glove delivery, but it was only delivered to the room, not unpacked. I loved this dresser when I saw it. The first time it was delivered it came totally assembled and completely damaged. I was told I had to keep it or give it away but they sent me a second one. I received the second and it was shipped using a different company this time and they did so much better! The guys that delivered it even helped me up the stairs with it! I am so happy with it. I would say it’s built pretty well and looks great! I’ll have to list the other damaged one for free and hope someone will haul it out of here.
