This is a really nice ottoman. I purchased the tan and white gingham check. It is heavy and has great space inside for storage. The fabric is a heavy blend of some sort, not 100% cotton, so I was concerned when I first saw it, but it’s thick and the fabric lays nicely, with great corners and flat panels. The upholstery is beige with dark gray "flecks". The nylon protectors on the bottom of the legs really grab on our wood floor and make it difficult to move the stools. We ordered five of these stools. One came damaged and Birch Lane sent a new one. The cushions are a bit hard but expect will soften over time. The wood is a dark walnut stain which is what we wanted. The upholstery is beige with dark gray "flecks". The nylon protectors on the bottom of the legs really grab on our wood floor and make it difficult to move the stools. Love these counter stools! They came fully assembled, which was a huge plus and saved so much time.
