This is a really nice ottoman. I purchased the tan and white gingham check. It is heavy and has great space inside for storage. The fabric is a heavy blend of some sort, not 100% cotton, so I was concerned when I first saw it, but it’s thick and the fabric lays nicely, with great corners and flat panels. The Ottoman itself is wonderful. It’s so clean and soft. Because it’s suede, it’s fairly easy to brush out any minor stains and it feels heavy duty. The one issue we had is that there’s a small hole on the top of the Ottoman in the suede fabric. I called Birch Ln and they did promptly give me a 20% discount so I didn’t have to send it back to get a new one. Not quite sure how I’m going to fix the hole, but we decided to take the discount to forgo having to wait for the new ottoman or go through the process of shipping it back. It’s a very nice size, and quite firm. It’s rounded more on the top , not as flat as the picture. The fabric is not mushy soft but still soft to put your feet up on. It’s light but sturdy at the same time so it is easily moved around. Good for extra seating and you can put a tray on it to put down a drink. Neutral colour so easy to pair with other fabrics.. Dyan.
