I did all the measurements and was still surprised at it's size compared to the very large recliner I have sitting next to it! It's immediately comfortable, no need to break it in first. You have plenty of room to sit sideways or cross-legged. My large dog would love to take it over as his personal bed. I have a small ottoman/pouf that I can put in front of it for extra comfort as well. The side arms are tall enough that with the pillow you can lean against it to watch TV. My daughter lays with her legs hanging over the edge of the arm. For our small living room it fills adds another comfy option for seating against a wall where you might otherwise put a side chair.. Love love love this chair. I bought it for my daughter for the birth of her baby and have spent quite a bit of time in it now that the baby is here. It is so comfortable and it’s spacious. I love the chair. It glides and swivels silently and effortlessly. Although the seat cushion is much firmer than I was expecting, it is a comfortable chair, and I love the recliner feature. My grandchildren love it as well. It seems to be a well made piece of furniture. The only thing I noticed that was not true to the instructions was the back flap on the chair was a little too short to reach the attaching velcro strip on the bottom of the chair.. Julie. This winged-back may look like just another stylish chair, but it is far from it! This versatile model reclines and has a swivel gliding base, making it the perfect mix of style and function.

This is a nice looking chair. It is smaller in scale than the common overstuffed recliner which is the reason we purchased it. The glide and swivel features work very well. The recline position does not lock in very well and tries to return to vertical. The backrest is a little low to lean your head back on.
