Really nice looking, but I feel I overpaid. Good quality for the type of furniture. I dont think it will stand up in the long run. I wouldnt consider it kid or pet-friendly. This is a great cabinet however, there have been issues. The first one arrived damaged and Wayfair sent a furniture repair person to fix. It was too badly damaged and was replaced within three weeks. The second unit came in great condition, service was great however, upon further inspection, the touch-latch for the bottom drawer isn't functional. Hopefully an easy repair. The stand is exactly what I was looking for to go with my Natural wood floors. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the two swinging doors are hard to open after I put my Center Speaker on the top of the unit. This is causing the wood to bend slightly and the doors are harder to open. I took off the back of the unit to provide more air flow for my receiver that sits underneath and in the middle. It is a very nice and sturdy piece of furniture. It is exactly what I was hoping to receive looking at pictures from posted reviews. There are two manufacturer flaws hoping to be able to fix myself. The back has a broken corner which looks caused by an overt tightened screw. One shelve pin that is screwed in is messed up.
