The Lana Chest is a beautiful piece of furniture. It's the perfect size, and it is versatile in ways it can be used. It is solid and sturdy, the blue is gorgeous, and the door pulls are the perfect accent. It could be used in an entrance way, a bedroom, a living room, dining room or family room. It could be used for mail and keys, blankets/throws, games, sweaters, dishes, so many possibilities. It is worth the price. This dresser is a good quality in terms of the material, finish, weight and hardware. The grass cloth finish on the drawer fronts is fine if you like that style. I wish they had the wood-grain drawer fronts so that it matched perfectly with my six drawer dresser. The collar and hardware is identical though so it works. Again one would expect at this price point to have soft-close drawers. You need to give these drawers a good push into place so that they are flush with the others.. Good drawer space. The stand is exactly what I was looking for to go with my Natural wood floors. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the two swinging doors are hard to open after I put my Center Speaker on the top of the unit. This is causing the wood to bend slightly and the doors are harder to open. I took off the back of the unit to provide more air flow for my receiver that sits underneath and in the middle. The piece is very well made, delivery was a snap, and the images on the website did not mislead us. Some information on the specification description is confusing, i.e. is the piece pine or poplar or is it simply a black poplar wash on pine, huh Still don’t know but it feels like pine, though hard to tell due to the black color and totally opaque finish. But we had a great experience from ordering to delivery and it was seamless, the piece is beautiful, whole, undamaged, and fits perfectly. The piece ordered was a first for me, in that I ordered without having had hands on it in a physical store. Quality is the key concern. However, the ability to return was what provided enough comfort to try. The console table was exactly what I was looking for, the color in the pictures were accurate when compared to the table when it arrived. The build quality is also consistent with the pricing - no cheap hardware or particle board. Some car will be needed in maintaining the top, but I'll be following the instructions - and there will be no food or drinks on it anyway.
