From the steel rails and exposed wheels to the mortise and tenon details, Lorna speaks to simplicity. The weathered brown oak finish is distressed to deliberately highlight its age and compliments the basic barn door style with heavy plank tops and timber legs. Lorna's classic look with rustic wood and authentic hardware has clearly withstood the test of time.

Loved finding bookcases this tall (94”) and wide (40”) and was able to make my office/studio wall look like a built-in. Lucky to find wood finish close to other elements we were using. While we don’t really need the ladder function, the rod detail makes the unit look unique and we didn’t purchase a ladder. A wall anchor was provided with each shelf, but we purchased more substantial ones because they are heavy pieces.. David. Orlando, FL. Sun Feb 16 2025

A sturdy wood frame supports the sleek, manufactured wood panels. Equipped with adjustable shelves for personalized storage. Features a cable management hole to keep cables out of sight and neatly organized. Manufactured wood is carefully crafted to ensure stability with a uniform finish. Includes four drawers for ample hidden storage. Features ten interior shelves for organized display options.

It’s a very nice media center. However, it could use some wood plugs on the lowest bookcase shelves. There are large holes where it is screwed together that are very visible to see. On delivery, it comes in many pieces. They put it together for you. We had several damaged pieces so had to wait a few weeks for replacements. Once we had the replacements and it was assembled, we noticed one other piece with small damage. At that point they offered us a decent price adjustment so we kept it. They have very good customer. We bought four of these! The only complaint was that I paid for white glove delivery where they were supposed to assemble it. The guy was trying to just drop them off. We didn’t let him leave until we got what we paid for. We love them!. Lisa. Fairfax, VA. Mon Sep 28 2026

This bookcase emulates the grand scale and elegance of an age-old library. It features distinguishing details like an upper arch, fluted corbels, dentil molding, and beadboard back paneling. Crafted from engineered wood, it comes in a warm brown finish for a heirloom vibe we simply love. Six shelf tiers provide ample room to organize books and show off traditional decor. At almost 8' tall and 40" wide, it makes a statement without taking up too much floor space. For extra safety and stability, we recommend getting a wall anchor (sold separately).

Looks very nice. Seems to be sturdy. More gray than the picture shows, and the back is made of particle board. Overall happy, but not as solid as I had hoped.. Claire. MI. Tue Feb 20 2024

Embracing a timeless aesthetic each piece boasts a natural oak finish delicately enhanced by a light glaze exuding sophistication and warmth. Featuring heavy bar pull hardware and bold U shapes on the desks and storage solutions that are sure to make a statement in any workspace.

I am mostly pleased with these, considering the price. They arrived in perfect condition and look exactly as pictured. They blend well with the other wood colors and style in my living room. However I had hoped the wood would look more like real oak. The white glaze is much heavier than you can see on the photo, and it still retains a very strong smell. The white glaze is overdone, in my opinion, and makes the piece look like really fake wood, which I guess it is. I kind of wished I had ordered the very similar bookshelves without a back (made by a different manufacturer) because it doesnt say it has the glaze and also says it is made of oak and rubber wood. But those were each 100 more so I went with these.Whereas these are mostly engineered wood I believe. Once the smell wears away, Im sure Ill be happier with them.. Carol. Longboat Key, FL.
