Worn Oak

Crafted from worn oak for a found, heritage look, naturally beautiful cabinetry offers generous storage space by way of roomy shelving and four lower drawers.

This is easily my favorite purchase from Birch Lane. It’s expensive, but after seeing it in person, I think it’s worth every penny. This is the kind of substantial, beautiful piece of furniture that you keep for years and eventually pass down. I currently use mine in the kitchen for additional storage, and it’s incredibly spacious. It holds a surprising amount while still looking like a beautiful piece of furniture rather than just a storage cabinet. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent, and it has so much character. I genuinely enjoy just looking at it. If you’re hesitant because of the price, I was too—but this is one purchase I absolutely do not regret.. Ash. Sacramento, CA. Mon Aug 10 2026

A sturdy wood frame supports the sleek, manufactured wood panels. Equipped with adjustable shelves for personalized storage. Features a cable management hole to keep cables out of sight and neatly organized. Manufactured wood is carefully crafted to ensure stability with a uniform finish. Includes four drawers for ample hidden storage. Features ten interior shelves for organized display options.

It’s a very nice media center. However, it could use some wood plugs on the lowest bookcase shelves. There are large holes where it is screwed together that are very visible to see. On delivery, it comes in many pieces. They put it together for you. We had several damaged pieces so had to wait a few weeks for replacements. Once we had the replacements and it was assembled, we noticed one other piece with small damage. At that point they offered us a decent price adjustment so we kept it. They have very good customer. Really unique cabinet, looks great with my coastal decor. Sturdy but light. The doors are a little less sturdy than I would like so you just have to be careful when you open and close them. Sales staff was great - Joyce! There was a discrepancy in pricing from what I saw online to what was in the store and they honored my price so that was really great!. Brenda. Pocassett, MA. This sideboard brings updated traditional style with Shaker influences directly into your home. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame, and it rests on tapered legs for a balanced look. The oak surfaces feature subtle banding to give extra dimension across the clean profile. Behind the four doors, a hidden drawer and shelves offer plenty of room to keep extra dishes and seasonal essentials neatly tucked out of sight. Plus, an included tip-over restraint device helps give you peace of mind in busy households.

This sideboard is beautiful. Wood grain with a silverware drawer liner inside, nice hardware, and shelves to store your things. I love the height-hard to find in a sideboard and the soft curved edges. It's very pretty and I like how it looks in our dining room. HOWEVER, the delivery process has been a nightmare. The original delivery date was delayed from the initial 10 days to 28 days. Reason was it was damaged in transit. Then when it was finally delivered, white glove, the hardware was missing for the lower shelf. Customer service was called-shockingly, there was no expedited process given the hardware was missing and we have been waiting a month for the piece.. Naturally, it took another week before the hardware shipped and then it was a full 2 weeks before it finally arrived. AND IT ARRIVED TODAY BUT IS THE WRONG HARDWARE! How can this be so hard? When I asked for a credit for the inconvenience, I was told no. Sorry for you! I wouldn't order from Birch Lane again unless you want your furniture in a few months. Logistics are not their thing, clearly.. Andrea Vinson. California. Wed Sep 02 2026

Kiln-dried wood guarantees structural strength to prevent bending in humid climates. Two cabinets offer ample storage for media and accessories. Natural wood grain adds warmth and character to your space. Arrives fully assembled for immediate use and convenience.

The stand is exactly what I was looking for to go with my Natural wood floors. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the two swinging doors are hard to open after I put my Center Speaker on the top of the unit. This is causing the wood to bend slightly and the doors are harder to open. I took off the back of the unit to provide more air flow for my receiver that sits underneath and in the middle. I also removed the middle shelf. I'm very happy with the product though. I would recommend this piece.. Rick. Clovis, CA. Sat May 06 2023

Paneled doors with leather pulls add a touch of elegance. Natural wood grain variation enhances its rustic, timeless appeal.

The media console is beautiful! The wood color is darker than expected, however, it still looks nice in my space. However, I had one issue. The screws that are supposed to hold the inner cabinet shelves were not included by the manufacturer. Although I received a credit from Birch Lane for it not being included, finding a replacement has been very difficult. It is not a standard peg and has treads. That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Currently the shelves are sitting in the closet while I hunt for screws small enough to fit, but strong enough to hold it all up.. Adrienne. Auburn, AL. The Hatherley Server features an all black finish, with geometric details giving it an Asian flair. This sideboard provides ample storage between the two upper drawers and two cabinets. The top drawers feature black felt lining. The four doors open smoothly with the magnetic stops and soft close hinges, revealing two cabinet spaces, each with an adjustable shelf. The sturdy piece is solidified with adjustable floor levelers on each leg.

It looks very nice and has a nice satin-y (?) feel. It arrived with a few small but visible dings, which I would have been happpy to touch up with replacement paint, but Birch Lane replaced it with a perfect version.. Laurel. San Ramon, CA. Thu Mar 20 2025
