The cabinet weighs 80 pounds so I had to hire a handyman to bring it to my house. $75 dollars later I ended up canceling a pretty dresser I ordered because I don’t trust FedEx to deliver to my house. I am mostly pleased with these, considering the price. They arrived in perfect condition and look exactly as pictured. They blend well with the other wood colors and style in my living room. However I had hoped the wood would look more like real oak. The white glaze is much heavier than you can see on the photo, and it still retains a very strong smell. The white glaze is overdone, in my opinion, and makes the piece look like really fake wood, which I guess it is. I kind of wished I had ordered the very similar bookshelves without a back (made by a different manufacturer) because it doesnt say it has the glaze and also says it is made of oak and rubber wood. The desk is beautiful and solidly built. It's so nice to actually have a desk NOT made of particle board. It looks great and the drawers are sturdy and come with some nice accessories like a wood inlay for pens and supplies., felt bottoms for 2 of the top drawers and the fully built in file cabinets. The desk also has a built in power supply for 2 electrical sockets and 2 USB ports. I wasn't sure what to expect since there were so few pictures posted but I am VERY happy with the desk. It came extremely well packaged and the only assembly necessary was attaching the 8 little legs.
