We purchased the white quarz countertop. It is exactly what we were looking for. Quality wood and countertop, looks more expensive than it was, and it is SOLID (400 lbs per the delivery team). It also has a huge amount of storage--no wasted space. We did not need any seating area and appreciated that this island utilized the underneath space for storage instead. The build quality is also consistent with the pricing - no cheap hardware or particle board. Some car will be needed in maintaining the top, but I'll be following the instructions - and there will be no food or drinks on it anyway. Providing ample storage, and more than ample visual impact, this handsome sideboard is one of our "found pieces" which will vary slightly in size and design. However, each will provide a stunning accent piece wherever it is placed. Painted Chinese red on the face, with contrasting ebony sides and top, this sideboard is dressed to impress.
