The dressers are beautiful and very well made. I am chiming in, because our delivery people originally refused to place them in the correct room also. It was up one flight of stairs, but directly at the top--nothing insane. It wasn't until my husband pointed out that the box had "white glove delivery" printed on it that they acquiesced and placed them in the correct room. I loved this dresser when I saw it. The first time it was delivered it came totally assembled and completely damaged. I was told I had to keep it or give it away but they sent me a second one. I received the second and it was shipped using a different company this time and they did so much better! The guys that delivered it even helped me up the stairs with it! I am so happy with it. I would say it’s built pretty well and looks great! I’ll have to list the other damaged one for free and hope someone will haul it out of here. This enormous seashell is hand painted, hand cast from a real giant clamshell mold, the clam shell is oven fired from ultra hard plaster (seriously rock hard), and each handmade clamshell takes 4 weeks to make from start to finish. This Clam Shell has Beautiful Grey and White Coloring, features realistic-looking barnacles cast on the outside of the shell and looks and feels just like a genuine giant clam shell from a giant clam, also known as Tridacna gigas. The giant clam has been misunderstood in times past as if often the case with uncharacteristically large species (giant clams were once called killer clams or man-eating clams, and older versions of the U.S. Navy Diving Manual even included detailed instructions for freeing oneself from is grasp)! Today giant clams are found in shallow coral reefs of the South Pacific and Indian oceans, and these large clams can grow up to 440lbs in the wild!.
