The piece ordered was a first for me, in that I ordered without having had hands on it in a physical store. Quality is the key concern. However, the ability to return was what provided enough comfort to try. The console table was exactly what I was looking for, the color in the pictures were accurate when compared to the table when it arrived. The build quality is also consistent with the pricing - no cheap hardware or particle board. Some car will be needed in maintaining the top, but I'll be following the instructions - and there will be no food or drinks on it anyway. The stand is exactly what I was looking for to go with my Natural wood floors. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the two swinging doors are hard to open after I put my Center Speaker on the top of the unit. This is causing the wood to bend slightly and the doors are harder to open. I took off the back of the unit to provide more air flow for my receiver that sits underneath and in the middle. This is truly a unique piece. It is the first time I've encountered a dresser with concave drawers.
