The upholstery is beige with dark gray "flecks". The nylon protectors on the bottom of the legs really grab on our wood floor and make it difficult to move the stools. These chairs are beautiful. They feel very sturdy and are surprisingly comfortable, given they don’t have a cushion. I was sad I had to return them.
