The dressers are beautiful and very well made. I am chiming in, because our delivery people originally refused to place them in the correct room also. It was up one flight of stairs, but directly at the top--nothing insane. It wasn't until my husband pointed out that the box had "white glove delivery" printed on it that they acquiesced and placed them in the correct room. Not a big deal, but maybe Birch Lane/Wayfair/Perigold should look into it, if this happens regularly.. Carson. Austin, TX. Wed Sep 25 2024

I bought the set of furniture at Habitat for Humanity and darkened the dressers with gel stain. I switched out the old handles with the Lancaster hand polished handles and spray painted them black. Don’t mind if a little gold shows through. There was complications with some deliveries and returns but customer service was as always with my experience extremely helpful. Love how everything turned out.. Alaina. VA. Thu Mar 26 2020

I got this dresser in the dark mocha color, and it is absolutely beautiful! It arrived in perfect condition and the delivery went well. I'd give it 5 stars, but there's one buyer beware comment I have about it — when you open the drawers, they off gas terribly because of the finish. I had to keep windows open during the day and run an air purifier for 2 weeks. I'm sensitive to chemical smells. It took a full month leaving the drawers open to air out before the smell had dissipated enough that I could put clothes in it. I did try to clean it but that didn't seem to help. Beautiful dresser though, and if you're willing to wait a while after to get it to use it, you won't be disappointed. I wouldn't sleep in the same room as the dresser until it wasn't putting strong chemicals in the air, and I'd air it out for a month before letting a child or baby sleep in that room. I hope the company reconsiders the type of finish they are using.. Meredith. AZ. Fri Oct 23 2026
